Hey dm 226s0 !! I have the same problem !! You could do like StreetBikeDepot, He took his muffler off his M818 and cut the flanges off, then welded a flex pipe to the flanges and straight piped his M818 !! I am looking for a good used M809 Muffler as well !! You could do like I have done and take the muffler to a shop and have it welded as a tempory fix !! I also took out the spring out of the bracket on the mirror mount that helps a little bit and made it a hard point !!
