Water in the cab?

I know the Deuce is made to be waterproof. Does that include the electronics in the dash? Just started work on my new to me 1972 AM General & the inside is nasty as **** floor to ceiling. I was going to give her a good spraying out w/the hose but putting water on electronics just dont feel right. Thoughts?

Wash it!

I've been driving my 5ton topless and got caught in a very impressive thunderstorm.

A towel on the gauges to prevent spotting. All is well.

I went through 300 miles of thunderstorms with a top and I don't think it would have made a difference if it hadn't been on. At 50Mph I was soaked and so was everything else.

Wash it.

That's how we always cleaned them in the Marines. They got extremely filthy at times. So we took them to the wash rack and let the water fly !
