Hey folks. Headed to Denver from Houston in the 330hp LMTV with highway gears and cruise control. Have the Bullydog Warchdog module plugged in for eng temp, Trans temp, MPG and RPM. Running GPS to record miles.

so far...

trans temp - 220 constant
eng temp - 197 to 204. Fan activates at 204
mpg - hand calculated at 8.25mpg (1st fuel stop)
mpg - hand calculated at 8.35mpg (2nd fuel stop)
Mpg - hand calculated at 8.12mpg (3rd fuel stop)

have the cruise set at 2130rpm / 60 mph

more to come

Delivering it to the new owner.

i wish it would break 10mpg! This is a C7 truck. I would really like to see someone put an 8.3 cummins in one of the 3116 trucks. Would break 10 mpg for sure.

Small world. I arrived in Denver yesterday also. No, I am not the one buying the LMTV but sure would enjoy seeing it!

Try keeping it at 40 - 45 mph around 1500 rpm, (I know its bit slow travel from route) but see if you can get 10 mpg

I got a 927a2 rated about 6 mpg at 2k rpm at 55 mph. And I can get 8 mpg at 45mph 1500 rpm, I think carnac said once, it is not how fast you get there, it is how cool you get there. I would volunteer if you were in Florida...
