weight limit for 5-ton axle

According to what I see on Timken for the 596 bearing and the 593, they both have a million rev rating of 48,600 each....so 4 times that. I'd want duals also for stability.

Check out the dog bones on a five ton, two below on the outside and one above inside the frame. Notice there are holes in the trunion that are directly above the bottom link mounts. It's a "4 link" parallelogram made with 3 links.

I keep thinking of making a 4x4 that the rear axle should be left in place and it made into a four link, adding top links above the bottom ones on the outside of the frame (spring removed) and fabricating the air bag mount (as part of the top link attachment to the axle) behind the axle with watts link for cross movement.
