Literally. What's this little diode-looking device? I removed the doghouse to track down a diesel smell (see my soon-to-be next post) and have no idea what this is for.

Looks like a plug to protect the connector from the elements. You would have to look at the little metal tag on the cable for the number, then find a wiring diagram
