As above, went to a firearms auction and came home with a excellent condition ex-Marine 1967 Johnson M762 3/4 tom flat bed trailer. $550 which included two receiver type mounted pintle hitches. the little trailer is in just amazing shape. The tires are just okay, buy will do for now. No problem with the paperwork, as it was already titled in Ca and had the signed off "pink slip". My dogs like it too!!

Since it was registered in Ca. I would imagine it spent most of it's life near Barstow or camp Pendleton.
Never knew about these trailers, and not much info available. I've had 1/4 ton 416's, and this looks similar, just beefier springs and frame...

It would be nice to find a new data plate to replace the faded one....

Nice score!
I bet it’s fun backing that small trailer up.
I could use that for my concrete mixer and make it mobile.

There is a company online who recreates original data plates.
Been discussed on SS but can’t remember who it is now.

Ebay has trailer data plates, but mostly for more common trailers.
Maybe some sellers there can recreate yours if none already listed.

Very nice! Seems your inspection team are happy with it.
You can tell a Marine Corps trailer by the lifting loops. They put them on M416s also.
Cheers

DataPlates.net can reproduce them but they need a clear picture of one .
They are really good to deal with .
