I am looking for an armored military vehicle that is street legal. Would prefer tires over tracks.

A little more info would be helpfull
what country/ timeframe are you intrested in?
whats your budget , how often are you wanting to drive it?
Are you wanting something modern to escape in?
there is a long list of tired armored vehicles to have
all with diffrent attributes ,price, and maintence problems.
Also check with you state .

:ditto: I know a guy who owns a Ferret in Kansas and has a historic license plate for it. With no gun mounted on it you should be good. The big hurdle will be price. I don't know how much they go for but I bet it's alot.

After reading your other thread, I think you need to look for a new girlfriend, before you need to worry about finding a street legal armored vehicle.

Depends upon the state regarding tracks. For wheeled: Any Soviet BTR series, Czech OT series, British CVR(W), Ferret, Saladin, Saracen, Humber Pig, others. US Scout Car, V-100, Gun Trucks, Peacekeeper, All depends how much $$$.

Sad part is I say that all the time OPSEC but most people who were not in the Military and some that were dont seem to care about that too much. No offence to anyone but lets use that a little more on SS. a 40 year old trucks not to big a deal but radios and stuff are. -Jay
