What does a standard deuce bed weigh?

Ive searched. I found only one post that stated a std deuce bed weighs 2000lbs. I could find no other posts to back this up. Is this correct?

Im getting ready to pull the bed off my deuce and I have access to a shop built A-frame and chain hoist but I would like to know how much the bed weighs before I collapse the A-frame onto my truck and get killed in the process.

I took one to the scrap yard it was 1,986 pounds with tail gate on there scale and there was nothing in.
