I'll try and hit one of the local truck stops in the future as they have certified scales and I have my 923a2 back in normal trim

The TM is going to be VERY close. It does give a weight
for the truck in the TM. Now add what that weight does not cover,
it is all in the TM I do believe, wet / dry etc...tell us what you find.

OK, here are the comparison weights for my M923 converted to M925.
TM says 21600lbs for M923
TM says 22360lbs for M925
My data plate says 22473lbs empty(1984 AMG)
Scales says 24440lbs
So if I figure the data plate is correct and add for the winch installed the 24440lbs has to be pretty darn close to accurate. What do you think? I don't think she is so fat after all.

I ran my M936 across the scales and with 95% of the BII and me in it, it weighted 38400 lbs.

WOW, you sure that's not 28,880 lbs? I would not think it weighted more then a M936.
I guess you could have a lot of thinks inside the box.
I had a M934 and when I did the SF-97 I looked at the data plate and it showed less then 30k lbs.

You are correct. The truck weighs 28,880 lbs. But I had to register it with a GVWR of 28,880 plus 5 tons. That is why 38,880 stuck in my head because I had to pay for a tag with the GVWR weight. Ouch!

Sorry for the confusion!
