Touched up a few camo areas, stenciled in some ID markings and re-installed my mudflaps and spare. I think I'm done until I pick up my fiberglass boards for my troop seats from Denton next weekend.

I did this to a newly aquired 931 a few weeks back. I think it could be a new type of cylinder vent

Checked the truck on the 1st of march it was full of coolant didnt check it on the 19th

However! THE TRUCK RAN AT 2000RPMS FOR CLOSE TO AN HOUR AND MADE NO NOISE, NEVER RAN HOT, OR ANYTHING.

Went to towing with it and boom. Oh well. So now i will take my 250 out and put it in the 931 and debate over my 923 engine choice

Glad you finally got everything home safely. As the old saying goes, "If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!" Murphy must have a condo in Memphis.

Is it just me or does that look like an old hole? The hole appears to be rusted over. Makes me wonder how long the imperfection had been there waiting to blow out.

The plate on the dash says it had only been 300miles since the engine was put in. Could be multiple things? But i have witnesses to the no coolant long idle deal

More than likely. I talked to a guy today and i can get 2 buses with running dt466s for 2200. Just hold em till scrap goes back up but still lots of use able parts. Plus that dt is a monster on power and reliability. Not to mention that 1/3 the weight of a big cam

Repowering these trucks has always fascinated me since I got interested in them. What are your plans for the M931? You must be keeping your two 923s now instead of selling out?

Wow, sounds like you've got quite a bit going on with your trucks! I remember when you got your first, green 923 a few months back...your "collection" sure has "grown" since then!
