Details like that do nothing to ruin your paint job.

I used to do some residential painting (never again), and I learned over time that the details that you as the painter suffer through (IF you're a detail guy) tend to go completely unnoticed by anyone other than yourself.

Yes absolutely!! The quality of our work is in the details. They accumulate... as does the lack of detail.

Hey Coffey, Do you have any numbers on that match for Rustoleum Deep forest green, I use it all the time,but cant get any one to come up with a match, even contacted rustoleum via email, they refused to divulge the mix. proprietory, , would be nice to find it in a nice automotive paint

Spray a test panel (white license plate blanks from a craft store) with the color you want and take it to your paint mixer. If they have a scanner they can match it in seconds or they can do it manually by mix and test. I have even taken pictures of colors i like and had them matched.

Two ways.
1. Buy a can of the color spray paint you want. Ask for a mixing stick from the paint desk, spray the stick and say "match this please"
2. Don't buy the can, but refer to actions detailed in "1"

they will blow dry it and make your paint for you!
