Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I have a big napa filter that was installed 2 years ago, how often should it be replaced?a dirty fuel filter mite be the problem.
It may be due tomorrow, or 10 years from now. How often to replace it depends more on miles driven/time on the engine than on time by itself.I have a big napa filter that was installed 2 years ago, how often should it be replaced?
I would check and see if Seafoam still advertises it for diesel... I believe there was an issue...Put a can of Seafoam in the fuel tank and see if that helps.
More times than not it does.
I would also change the fuel filter.
You never know what junk was in the tank.
Yes, thanks again. I honestly couldn't believe how much noise it made from what was in the end, a simple problem. I may end up having more issues down the road from the lack of fluid getting to the pump for that short while but for now it feels really good.Your welcome.
I did some reading up on the fuel cutoff solenoid I pulled the wires and scrub the contact clean and it seems to be running fine again it runs excellent most of the time and then crappy every once in awhile up until this point I'm going to see if cleaning the contacts help at all does anyone have experience having done this to remedy a problem? How are you "pretty sure" you don't have an air leak? Do you have clear fuel line on your return so you can see bubbles?
I've been doing my delivery around all night I put about 80 miles on it seventy-five of them were problem-free but it was intermittent in between most of themHow are you "pretty sure" you don't have an air leak? Do you have clear fuel line on your return so you can see bubbles?
Cleaning the contacts did not solve the problem so I kicked my truck againI've been doing my delivery around all night I put about 80 miles on it seventy-five of them were problem-free but it was intermittent in between most of them
I will be doing this in the morning against my will LOLPut a can of Seafoam in the fuel tank and see if that helps.

So I guess I made it worse before I could do anything with it....my voltage is normally 28+ volts at idle...now it won't go above 27 while driving and the gp wait light is stuck on now...i have a manual switch installed alreadyI will be doing this in the morning against my will LOL
Kicking your truck is not a substitute for the tender living care required.Cleaning the contacts did not solve the problem so I kicked my truck again
