Now thet raht thar is funny!" Hey, that is a Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle,
Many times it is the alternator. As for what I've done lately, I'm chasing a parasitic draw that's draining my batteries. Very annoying.
Yeah, looking at that next. Many times it is the alternator.
Aren't those matched sets?New front wheel bearings and seals. The races looked good and I was lazy so I left the old ones in. My 3/8 torque wrench would not adapt to the nut socket so it is together with german tourqe till I can get a proper sized wrench on it next weekend.
Clarion cms2 radio install. It's a marine stereo with separate control face and brain.
I put the 1 inch thick face on the center dash plate and put the brain in
the glove box. It has 6.5's in the doors for now. I have .50 cal
ammo boxes for rear 6x9's but haven't decided where to put them. 20wx4 is plenty. No amp.
Not that I know of, I have done it that way in the past with VW's and never had a problem.Aren't those matched sets?
What do the statutes say about brake light height? Each state has their own laws and some are quite stupid.I replanned my lightbar/brake light setup.
I got yelled at for my 'brake lights being too high', by a county mounty.... State Patrol showed up and said it wasn't a big deal..
But, apparently, I got 'talked to' about impersonating a cop........
In a 30 y/o truck....
With army markings....
With state issued Navy tags....
With an amber lightbar....
I've gotten pulled over three times in the past month, all on bogus stops.....
People weren't kidding when they said that camo attracts attention... I was stopped once in one year for my rig, and the officer just wanted to know what was up with it...
Were you there? Kind of hard to articulate that from GA.Unlawful stop.
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.37.200 Very little regulation on brake lights in the WA code. As far as height, most commercial wreckers (not so much rollbacks) have brake lights mounted high or built into the light bar. I see no regulation on the amber lights except their operation while the vehicle is in motion.
It's my humble opinion that it's not so much the color of the truck but the addition of emergency lighting that is causing the extra attention.
