Secure a chain to the tail light holder and around the biggest tree you can find, and give it a few nudges of the gas pedal?!My "still new to me" M1087 has such a long list of items.... Just finished cab air bag replacements and rebuilding the supply valve. The old ones were totally blown up with rust. Rusted right through the air supply pipe to them, too!
Previous owner bent the hell out of the tail light holders I assume backing into objects. Besides the "bigger hammer method" anybody got any tips or tricks on getting them somewhat straight?
I gotta do hubs and seals and get the driveshafts straight and the floor is rusted so I gotta stop that in it's tracks...... Yeah I'll be here awhile.
That was my first thought tooSecure a chain to the tail light holder and around the biggest tree you can find, and give it a few nudges of the gas pedal?!
Everyone loves a parade, so Goliath was part of the Northern Nevada Veterans Coalition section of the Fourth of July parade in Fernley, NV. Second year in a row, so pics of this year, and last year (towing the trailer)
Awesome...nice trailer too!!
Looks like fun my friend......one of these days i need to drag my butt (and LMTV) and come join in all the fun out there!!More fun with Goliath! Fallon Nevada car show several weekends ago. No angled parking against the curb, so I do what I do with a big truck: make my own parking. I’ve made some signs with pics of the various Army Special Forces variants that I could find, magnetted them to. The front, on either side of my relocated IR identifier plate. Had a good time, lots of good questions and comments.
Later that afternoon, got an elect for an off road recovery of a broken UTV. Shameless plug: 775 Off Road Recovery (https://775ofr.com/). Took Goliath to the scene in style. UTV had badly broken left rear suspension. I winched the UTV to the top of the hill and the owner then drove down to a safe place. Dragged on the skid plate as there was no suspension left on that corner. Other folks then came to effect loading onto the owners trailer.
