What is a detuned 6.5l humvee engine?

I bought 4 detuned hummer engines. I want to put one in my truck and sell the rest. I want to boost the horse power back to where it should be. What the heck is detuned and and how can I change it back?

They were made my American General in 2005.

i had a 6.5l in my truck that was electronic i think those are all mechanical so i would thing all that would be needed is to turn the pump up and maybe timing but not sure i sure someone that knows will chime in

only difference is the pump is turned down. fix that and your in business.
