What is a Swingfire Heater Kit for a 5 ton?

What exactly is this for? Found a NOS kit, all parts included. I'm guessing some sort of cold weather kit? Looks like it has a boiler type pump, bunch of pipes, wood blocks, fittings, etc. Just curious

Gimpyrobb, that Swingfire really started easily! Every one I ever used took so much pumping by the time it started I was overheated!

That's crazy So that is just for heating the cab in cold climates? What is the water pump for that is shown in the kit?

I believe the swingfire heater kit is to heat the motor and the cab. I've never seen a complete one to verify.
