What is that sound?

On my duce I have noticed a snaping or poping sound coming from the passenger side firewall area that was not there before. It sounds like a relief valve of some kind. I don't remember hearing this before.

When I got the truck the low pressure buzzer was disconnected so I connected it for safety reasons. It seems like after that I have started to hear the snaping sound. Are they related? Thanks for your help.

What you are hearing is an air pressure valve mounted on the firewall. It is normall to hear it!

Thanks Eric. I thought so but I did not remember hearing it before and I wanted to be sure. Take care! I just got the duce painted. It looks brand new. As soon as I have the decals on it I will post some photos of it. Should be in abot two weeks.

Did you find a new bed for it?

BTW... that 'snap' will really get you, when the truck is off, and you are poking around under the hood, or doing something right in front of it ;-)
