What is this component that was in my expansible van trailer and what does it do?

This was in my electrical repair trailer in the electrical box above the bus bars and breakers. what is it and what does it do? I'm trying to figure out if I should keep it for my shelter build. It will have a thousand watt solar system on the roof 4 series 2 parallel to a 24 volt battery Bank. Inside will be 110 outlets and some 12 volt outlets.

Looks like a 4 pole 50 amp contactor with a 120 volt coil

No but I figured maybe I could use it as an emergency power off switch
