what is this?

finally got into the back of my truck and there were a few boxes of parts. i have no idea what this is. there is also a flat bracket as well. i will post pictures of that stuff later, but this was the most interesting. the parts were in sealed cardboard boxes and had shipping labels in with them dated from 1976! sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

Some kind of radio mount. I see plugs and vibration dampers, gots to be radio gear!
