What Kind of Brakes Does The M101A3 Have?

I see connections for brakes on the A3 or A2 that look like air brakes like a big rig?

Does this have air brakes that lock without air being supplied to it?

I need to be able to tow it with a civilian 3/4 ton truck with no air brakes obviously.

Both those have surge brakes, no air attachments.

M101A2 & M101A3 both have hydraulic surge brakes. You will need to change bulbs to 12 volt and adapt the military trailer plug or totally rewire with civilian lights and wiring.

If your seeing hook ups for air are you sure it's a 101 and not the larger ( much larger ) 105?
