What size snatchblocks for front winch?

The rating of the winch is for the first layer of wire rope on the drum.. the rating goes down as the spool fills up...as each revolution has more cable. I sold a 5 ton single block, used, last week for $75 and a new one for the Deuce for $75 also...anybody need a Whiffle Tree? I have one with the pins for $200 used.

Now for the ACE useful hint.. Read your manuals... Under the heading of BIIL (Basic issue items list) in your -10s.. you can read... BLOCK, snatch, wire rope, single, 6 1/4" sheave with swivel hook, 1/2 inch wire rope, 5 ton (10000lb) working load (in tool compartment above left running board on winch equipped vehicles.) 2940-00-609-8026
