Yea, if it runs or could possibly run, BUY IT NOW!! $6000 is a very good deal for a wrecker.

Does it come with any goodies i.e. towbar, slave cable, chains etc.?

take some pics and post em up!!:p

Make sure the boom goes all the way in and out. Sometimes, they extend the boom and try to pick up something too heavy and damage the boom. That might make it a deal breaker. Also see if you can see it swivel. Make sure that mechanism looks and works well. Otherwise, engines, trans, etc are easy fixes. sounds like a great deal. I wish I could run across one for that price.

best of luck and post some pics soon.

went down to do final inspection of wrecker and wow i think i scored big!!! 16ooo miles immaculate paint front winch, tow bars , not one hydraulic leak even has all stickers inside and out in perfect shape.. looks like it was maybe used a dozen times .. all the mechanics work flawless... only issue i found is that its missing the cable ends for the rear drag winch., but it still spool in and out, also needs some tires from sitting in the garage for last 5 years .. the owner said it took it out monthly to strech its legs and always operated the attachment to keep lubed.. he thinks there spades in the shop somewhere along with some other parts he even has extre boom slides ( jib) ,not sure exact name but the main arm .. total price 6500 because he put 4 new batteries in..its about 1 hr away going to bring home tuesday so there be more pics then.. i never find deals like this so hope it turns out good !!!!
