What did the military have installed here?

Also there is a total of six holes in the transmission hump between the seats and there is a latch pocket just like the rear seat uses behind the passenger seat. What on earth did the military have going on inside my truck. I already found where the fire extinguisher used to live behind the drivers seat on the wheel well. What other stuff did they have bolted into these things? does anyone have pictures of one that is still outfitted with the radio rack and everything?

Mine came with both. One behind the seat, and one on the tranny hump. A red bracket on the tranny hump , but no extuingisher(excuse my spelling ). A green extuingisher laying on the floor that appears to fit the bracket behind the seat.

hey rem when DOC came back it was running on garbage... well heck with all the bio and waste oils we arent far from it.

It's where the electrical junction box for the driver's side ejection seat goes. The removed the junction box when they removed the ejection seats prior to handing it over to DRMO.

And all I got on the tranny hump between the seats is a plain old boring console,
with a locking box and cup holders, oh well, it is useful at least.

What did the military really have there? I am curious too.
Since I have a 1985 M1009 too...
