what year is my truck

Is there a way to find out the year of my trucks? the data plates dont say. maybe a code on the vin? thanks in advance

Depending on where you got your truck, you can find the thread that CARNAC has in which he takes the vin numbers on your truvck and with some other information can tell you the history of your truck. I say depending on where you got it, because if you bought it used from someone, they could have swapped data plates and other pieces and parts making an accurate ID of your truck and its lineage difficult.

Post here, or PM me, with the mft serial number stamped into the frame near the front axle. It will be a 6 digit number, a five digit number preceded by a M, or a nine digit number. With that number, I can provide the make 99% of the time.
