What's on my window?

The rear side window by the radio rack has stuff on it. I am assuming it was to protect the radio or something. But it is clear and cracking. I tried using a rzor to scrape it off. It does not come off easy. Does anybody know what it is or the best way to get it off. If I have to scrape I will get a razor scraper with a handle.

Have you tried just misting some water on the loosened edge of the film?---- Many/most of those glues are water soluable.

I know paint thinner really hurts too. I also know I can find water REAL fast without being able to see. I used up my carb cleaner I will get some more and give it a try. The dry parts flake right off but the other parts do not want to come off.

Of course.... There are many "over the counter" remedies for GAS
And, if necessary, you can resort to a BLAND DIET for a few days and avoid the Tacos
But what has this got to do with getting the "stuff" off the window that this thread was initiated for.... Unless the stuff originated with the gas..... YUCKola But i digress......................
