What's the best way to remove the auction chalk?

I'm wanting to clean up the front of my truck and get rid of all the numbering they scribbled on there for the auction. I've tried soap/water, windex(had it close at hand), and WD-40. Had the best results with the WD-40, but it still didnt work real great. Anyone have any better suggestions, or places to point me to on the site?

It worked great with a tooth brush but dont scrub hard or you will remove to much lol

I think that may be a lacquer based paint stick. Not sure what brake clean is but carb cleaner is lacquer thinner.

I was going to use carb cleaner. I usually have some on hand, but it's mysteriously disappeared out of my garage...
