where are all the Wisconsin guys (and gals) at?



granted wisconsin does not have a great area for off roading and using our trucks, we should still get all the guys together and make a nice convoy of sorts.

Elkhorn. I read about "Poofstock" last year (about 55 miles north of me).........if he holds it again, I'm in (bringing the M817). It's a WI event that I've read raves about (September or October I believe).

Just last weekend I took my deuce to the mud fest in Rio! Was a blast and got a bit dirty. Great place to take MV's even if not in the mud. I should post some pics/vids!!!

I am mostly into jeeps but have a M-715 and a WC-52 with tractor tires for mudding........located in door county, Wisconsin and located in the country on a 100 acre parcel with some low land to bury trucks...would consider some type of rally or get together sometime, but I have been to POOFSTALK a few times and that's a great one to go to in the south central part of the state and I think Poof is still having another one.........would like to join a MVPA in Wisconsin, as I had belonged to Michigan and Minn but they are to far to go to things.......do we have one anymore in the state?? I know there used to be one in the south, Milwaukee area I think.........

Midwest Military show at Iola, Wisc. 2nd weekend in Aug. biggest show in the area ( the only show in area )

Yep, I set up every year near the Johns at IOLA, usually sell a lot of jeep parts............only missed 2012 because a bunch of us went on the 6 week long ALCAN Convoy.......had a lot of fun at Iola and always sell a bunch of stuff, course I buy sometimes more than I sell...........

I might venture up to WI from SE Iowa. We don't have too many MV gatherings or events down here. The Dodge powerwagon rally in Fairfield is about an hour and half away. Outside of that, its sparse.

Me and my dad went to poofstock 2013 and had a blast and will surly try to make the next one! We have a 300 acre farm (about 15 minutes away from the poofstock gathering) with 3 sand and gravel pits, woods and low ground fields i play/mud in. I kinda have a course setup that goes all around the farm! Many weekends in the summer i load my deuce down with 15-20 of my buddies and we tear up the farm and usually end with a large bonfire. Me and my dad have been talking about maybe having some sort of gathering but I'm not sure if anyone would actually show up...? Any input?!

Cumminsbandit, sounds like a good place to have something.......I think Poofstalk in the spring is usually when Jefferson has the car show also, I know one year I went to Jefferson and then over to Poofs.......if you set something up down your way, I know a couple of us from UP NORTH would head down......we used to have a great time at night at Iola with Kenny, Dr Greg and a few other jokers sitting around sucking beer......

I'm sure we could have a great time! these are some pics of last summer. I got my little dozer stuck wile disking the weeds down and my truck somehow found the same hole! We keep this 4 acre field just for playing in usually and have many dirt piles and other 6x6 terrain to clime! Its a peet field and is always soft even if its dry. And not everybody has to get their truck dirty, because it might be more fun just watching me! haha

Looks like fun, used to spend a lot of time in your area, my best friend worked for the UW Farm for years and we duck hunted the river and pheasant hunted all around Lake Mills....is the UW farm still operating?? that was a few years ago, like 40 or so!!! I have a 1952 weapons carrier with 4 tractor tires on it and a winch, she is hard to get stuck but when I do it is Stuck!! wish I was smart enough to post a picture on here, maybe if the 12 year old grand daughter comes over this weekend I can get her to do it...........

No. i think it was 15-20 years ago the state farm was sold. The one large barn fell many years ago and the second one fell 3-4 years ago. A good friend of ours has a small 60-80 cow dairy setup there in the remaining buildings now. We are only a half mile from there! I really want to see some pictures of your truck!
