Where can I find Fuel Cap & Door?

A diesel fuel cap and an OEM fuel door with hinge?
The LMC fuel doors hinge I bought bent over the first time I opened it.

They are both available on ebay, however the cap comes with the complete filler neck.

The fuel door you can still buy from GM. I bought one for my 1028 last year.

I'm collecting the parts to add a second fuel tank to my M1028. And I also need a (complete) fuel door including the whole opening to weld into the body. If anybody has one please PM me. Thanks D

I put my fuel opening on by cutting a hole and then putting the "new" door over it. By rounding the new door panels edges and using large self tapping bolts, it looks sharp. So that you know, I tried a short bed tank first, no go. I used drivers side brackets, and had drill three of the four bolt holes for the front one , but it worked well. Window flashing that comes in a roll and has adhesive on one side, then rubber and sometimes foil, makes great padding between the straps and tank.
