Where to buy parts?

im thinking of buying a deuce, but wanted to know where to buy normal parts at? say a starter,alternator, fuel pump, ect.

look to the top and right, besides there gobs of places on the net. Just see for yourself by typing in Military Vehicle parts. There will be a dozen or more places pop up. Parts are easy to come by and relativly cheap.

Do a search. there are many many places to get parts. Napa auto parts, www.odiron.com Saturn Surplus --> Saturn Surplus on the Web! the list is HUGE. There is a parts cross at the old steelsoldiers site. there is a link on the main page. Just do a search and you will be happy.

btw, if napa carries parts, do i tell them i have a 19xx Kaiser or what?

I also carry a large inventory of parts. I just purchased 4 truck loads of spare 6x6 parts.

No if you go to the parts store you need to have the part numbers already. They CAN NOT look up parts like they do for your Ford or Chevrolet. Use the parts cross to get the numbers.

I, like a lot of SS folks, sell parts if I have them.
I keep high dollar spares like starters, alternators, Injector pumps, turbos etc, for myself but when I part out a donor truck I try to sell fellow members stuff at a reasonable price.
