Hi All,
I have recently picked up a newer style rubber/vinyl cargo cover for my M35. It is in overall good shape, however a few of the tie down points have come off. They did not rip off, it looks like the original adhesive just gave it up and they fell off some where. I have picked up some donors, as well as extra cover material for reinforcement, and plan to glue them back in place with some extra overlap for strength.
Question is: what glue/cement to use? A number of threads here have recommended:
-HH-66 vinyl cement
-3M nitrile high performance rubber and gasket adhesive #847
-Pilobond contact cement
Any recommendations on which would be best for the tie downs, which will be under constant strain?
Thanks all.
