Does anyone know which primary fuel filter this will take?

The engine is the LDT-465-1D Multifuel.
1989 year engine on data tag.

I only have this picture to go off of. The vehicle is 2 hours away and I was hoping to be able to show up with the right filter this weekend for the Barstow Rally.

Thanks Guys!

Mike

Well, it does look pretty similar to the stock one, so a pretty safe bet would be to get a stock filter. Honestly, I think the fuel filter would be the least of your concerns as long as the brakes and the rest of the truck are road worthy. You can always change your filters later as long as the truck runs fine and will make the trip. Obviously if you can change it, more the better, but as long as it runs and everything else is good, I would drive it that way. I also sell the filter kits for the 5 ton multi's if you need one.

the military primary NSN is:2910-00-790-2300. It is the only filter that actually fits correctly. You can use Napa # 3511 by flipping over the brass cup that you see when you look down into the filter canister. Possibly Saturn Surplus and/or Sprucemtsurplus.com may have the real filter in stock. I know Memphis sends out the napa type element. Or you could change to spin-on filters and settle the problem. JT out
