the 6.2 uses a vac pump so the trans fluid from a bad modulator will not show up in the exhaust. with a gas engine yes it uses the engine vac but with the 6.2 no!

Im pretty sure there is a tank drain on the M1009, its rear of the passenger side wheel well tied to the top of the frame.
