No arguing or name calling in the Forums.

Act and post like adults, or you'll be treated like children, and sent to your bedrooms with no Internet(SS).

I zoomed into 1600 and I see no indication that its attached to the truck and that's just on adobe. I could pull it off and screen shot it in photoshop if you need help seeing it :)

I love this type of racing so much I joined my father team for the chump car series. Lemmons is a drinking team that wants to go racing while chump is all about the racing.

Our team is the Flying Tigers Race team. A tribute to the P40's of the 30's. Lots of fun and if you get a little ding here and there, cool. Pic is our car. My father behiind the wheel. This weekend we will be in Savanaha for 2 8 hour races, Virgina International Raceway in July for a 12 hour race and Sebring in Sept for a the big 24 hour race. Lots of fun![thumbzup]

As for the flag it does not look like it is on the truck to me in the pic, But as for talking about the flag, it sure does have the right to be discussed, like said, if on truck its on wrong side, is worth discussing because all of us here especially should know this, and since it is about MVs also the discussion sure is valid, and it sure seems like there are people enjoying the conversation, SOOOO, if one does not like what others like , just pic another thread, it covers what this site is about without any chance of it not being :) :) And like so well put, it is NEVER a Stupid Flag, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Again Especially on THIS SITE!!!!!!!! [thumbzup][thumbzup]

Wow talk about a thread going down hill when you turn your back:roll:

:funny:Though your avatar is quiet disturbing Gimpyrob.
Atomic I love the nose art on the race car. I actually have a set of truck tusk an individual manufactures here in Gainesville. Problem is they are a solid chunck of aluminum and as such are pretty much bullion to the bums around here. But I had them on an old Toyota painted green with a set of teeth painted on it.

Again who is the owner of that truck? We have soooooo many questions.

so do you guys get offended if you see a vehicle in a parade with flags down both sides?

you should take more pride in the spirit involved in the flag than the letter of properly flying it.

my first impression of the photo was that the flag was not atached to the truck due to the angle it was flying. it almost looked like it was photoshopped into the picture, thats how out of place it looked on the truck.

yes there is a correct way to display it but to most people, seeing the AMERICAN flag brings a felling of pride, thay are not looking at what side it is on,

MY BIG thing was the INSULT to everyone that fought for that flag, just the thought "JUST A STUPID FLAG", let a-lone saying it, had to be thinking it to post it, no matter what was said after the fact.. I will BE in jail if EVER anyone ever says that to my face or within hearing

I think the flag of the USA should be given respect. [edit] The law if you are interested for proper flag displays.. http://www.senate.gov/reference/resources/pdf/RL30243.pdf

I think this nation has too many laws by the way. When I can't even go through my day and not break a law there is a serious problem. As long as my rights and freedoms don't prevent you from yours, I feel there is [edit] no problem. But that is an opinion.

I too have a strong feeling of pride when I see our flag.

What track is this?

Also--can a Mod come through and clean up the posts worrying about flag placement? It has derailed the thread badly enough, and is rather irrelevant since the flag is posted on a pole in the ground trackside and is not mounted on the truck.

The truck is owned by somebody in the Houston area. He posted about running the truck at the race last fall. I just searched and couldn't find it though. My boss drove one of the cars in that race. The linked to track in Angleton is where the race was held.

Track was listed as MSR Houston and the race was GATOR-O-RAMA 2011.

Edit: Thanks to Barrman, I was able to work the magical search engine and retrieve the information we have been looking for. The owner of the "racing" deuce was 7Dust.
http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/60791-deuce-quarter-mile-times-speed-3.html

Per his post he was a pace car for the race. Now if he would be so kind as to answer some questions.

Oh yeah there is no flag in the truck bed.
