Why the ads?

Wonder if it is something that your browser decided to download and install?
I made a few searches - and ended up with every search having a GP ad showing over what I wanted to actually see.

I can't remember (on the phone) how I finally eliminated that.
On the PC, I just deleted or turned off the "helpers" in the browser configuration.

I have not seen any ads popping up on the bottom. The only ads I see are at the top of the screen from vendors.

Same. I do see an ad at the bottom of the classifieds page, but it doesn't pop up.

It has stopped doing it now. It was a Government Planet ad.

It shouldn't. Also at least outside the google ads, Gov Planet isn't an advertiser here.
