Why was post pulled ?

Why was a post from Saturday (June 13, 2015) pulled and all mention of it gone ? I posted to this thread and the whole thing and my post from my personal file is gone.
What is going on ?

Was it a single post or an entire thread? Since several go away every day, it would help to give more details. One thing I can assure you of, nobody cans threads or posts on a whim, there was a reason.

It was an entire thread. Some guy had wanted advice on towing a large trailer with his pickup truck. The post was several years old, but someone else had revived it. Coldwarrior had posted to it and I posted agreement with him and had a question about liability for the rest of us. I though it was a fair question, but evidently someone thought otherwise. I still would like an answer to my question if the moderator who deleted the post could PM me and let me know the answer that would be great.

The thread is still there. It was started in 2011. Just a few of the resent posts where deleted.

I did not delete them so I can not answer why, but each moderator can use his own judgement on when to delete something.

I only asked about our liability in that situation. I can only guess the lawyers didn't want us going there.

This is a privately owned website there are rules the owner has set that everyone agrees to when they join , so no there is not totally free speech here . But if you don't like the rules here you are FREE to start your own website and run it any way you choose.

What would be helpful is explaining why the posts were deleted so the same thing doesn't happen again. Rustystud's request to know why the posts were deleted is not unreasonable.

As for free speech argument I'm growing a little tired (as are other members) about the whining. Consider that a tip for the future.

No whining, I'm stating an opinion. If any of you don't like or agree with it, don't respond. I find it hypocritical that a website with so many patriotic members, has such censorship. I don't really care if anyone else doesn't like me saying that.
