Will cheap Harbor Freight tire balancer fit center hub of 2-piece rims.

Want to do a rough balance of rims.

Will the Harbor Freight bubble balancer fill the center area properly to allow for balance?

Will the Harbor Freight survive balancing 165lb. Wheels?

I searched but no love.

4.6 is the hub diameter and the harbor freight listing says max diameter is 4.25

Don't think it will work.

Looks like I will need to make an adapter from 1/4” flat stock plate.

I’ll plasma cut two rings and weld together.

Upper ring inner DM 4”. Outer ring upper DM 4.6”. Lower baseplate ring inner DM 4” with outer DM 6”

Put a tape on yours to be safe. My truck is at the BSA camp. I got the measurement from a wheel mfg.

Don't they say measure twice, cut once

Still begs the question if the balancer will hold the weight...

According to the owners manual on HF, the balancers' capacity is 15" light truck... Probably a huge difference to the 37" with runflats. Just MHO.

But, if you do move forward, keep the board up to date.

I’ve somehow managed to run a hmmwv restoration business for the last 15yrs and assembled hundreds of tires and never needed to balance a single one…if a customer wanted them balanced they went to a local shop that was $15ea.
