OK, great, but does that mean 2.6pt per side or is it 1.3 pts per side?
Additionally starting on page 100 you will find winch servicing info.
I do not have a tensioner / level winder so I jump to page 102 where
I find a plug I missed in the prior pictorial. On the PS there is ANOTHER
3/4" plug which is the oil level sight plug for the PS of the winch, this
brings the total of plugs to SEVEN on this winch. Here is the pic;
My 8 point 5/8" square head socket fits right in there to unscrew it
when I am ready.
HERE IS INFO I CAN NOT FIND
I still find no info on the mystery plug, under the drum lock, that I labeled DS-1 in post #13. Nor do I find a manufacturers name or model number
for these winches. Sure, I can fill till she overflows the one of the two oil level sight
plugs but it would be nice to know if it is 2.6pints per side or not.
Evidently you have not found the lube order referenced in doghead's post. This is the best explanation of what oils to use and where to put them. Mystery plugs may be access to winch drum brake etc. If not described in the -10 or -20 manuals you probably don't need to go there.
I have an issue I just installed my winch the PTO sucked lol but its in now. the SQ fill plug on the DS buy the lock handle will not come loose I have tried heat etc now its more round then SQ. And the clutch handle will not move unless someone is turning the spool by hand and you have a cheater pipe on the clutch handle. I dont think this is the proper way to use my winch I know it says two people but thats extreme any help would be great thanks
