Well I finally got around to pulling off those extensions but the result was unexpected. I used a claw-type puller and each came off with one good pull. Unfortunately as you can see in the photos both the original and extension arms came off together. There is also a small brass washer that came off too. The actual shafts appears to be fine. Any ideas on how to separate the two or replace the original?
