Wiring Question on M1165

Electrical motors (unless variable speed motors) are usually designed to run at no more than 10% the voltage. So 12vDC to 24VDC is way more than 10%

Might work better on 12v when the engine is running and the voltage is closer to 13.8v. Assuming they aren't already fried.
So I got everything hooked up and running tonight. This Orion unit has a variable output, instructions say max is 15v, but my harbor freight volt meter says 16+v.

I think the window motors would do fine on 15-16v but would a radio/stereo tolerate it?

Oh, forgot you were going through a converter, so my last comment doesnt apply.

To answer your question, that depends on the radio, but I wouldnt exceed 14.5v.
