Won't always start

This has happened 3 or 4 times now: I'll drive to work in the morning (10 miles) and then the truck will sit all day and start fine for the drive home. But on occasion I will run into town on my lunch break. I will drive 4 to 6 miles and then shut it off. When I am ready to go home 30 to 45 minutes later it won't start. Not even a cough or a wheeze or a sputter. If I let it sit for another 15 to 20 minutes, it will usually start. Any ideas?

Sounds normal.. It just needs an hour nap after after lunch just like me...

Did you do a search for warm start issues?

If you do a search you will find all the info you need on checking the Injection pump, glow plug control card, temp sensor. There is too much info to post on what the fix couple be... do a search and your answers will be found.
