Thought I would share some pictures of the progress on my M1008. I straighten out the front guard, hammered out the dents on the side of the bed, did some paint work, and added a different set of wheels and tires. Let me know what you guys think of the wheels.

Not sure yet, it might just become my daily driver. I have no further plans for modifications and mainly want to keep it stock, except for the wheels.

Oh I forgot, I also bolted on a universal pintle hitch. The original one was missing, and I had a universal one in the shop. It was nice that the bolt holes lined up perfectly.

33x12.5-16.5, Im a firm believer that 33" tires are ideal for these trucks that are stock height or up to a 4 inch lift. I already have 3.73 gearing, so this reduces my cruising rpms even more, unless I want to go faster.

I still have the originals, but I want to hang on to them in case I get some different tires in the future.

No lift, no rubbing so far. If I stumble across a cheap 4inch lift, then I may install it. The lift kits for these trucks are so easy to install and remove.

Added some front and rear shackles (not original, but close enough for me). Also painted and installed the ladder rack and tool box, painted them tan color.
