Working on my truckkkk

Went to the Autocraft shop at Fort Carson today and put on my new tires and added a spin on fuel filter. They are Firestone destination M/T 315/75/16 (34.7x12.4). All in all, took me about 2.5 hours to do everything. It's always a good day when you can work on your truck and everything turns out good!

yea it's just 2 inches higher then stock. I think the 1008/9's should have come with 2 inches higher and 33's. Thats just my opinion though.

I noticed you're from Xenia. One of my Soldiers is from Xenia. I've heard allllll about that little town from him this past year.

How was bleeding the fuel system without a bleeder on the filter assembly?

Skinny there was zero bleeding. All I did was fill the filter completely full of diesel and she started up perfectly. It stumbled for a brief second but after that it never missed a beat. I did this to a 1009 I used to own and it made starting it so much easier. I didn't realize how much air was getting into the fuel lines until I did the spin on mod.
