Worth checking out?

I've been wanting a 1008 for a while, but a 1009 came up for sale within driving distance. It has been titled and owner says it runs/drives good but needs glow plugs. Asking $2800 but I'm thinking a little less due to rust and dented door, though he says the floor is solid. 49k miles and tires like new. ARFCOM survival forum recommended I look here for advice. Thanks guys.

I paid a little more than that for mine, but I also got mine from a dealership. If it runs and drives good, I'd jump on it. Depending on the rust issue obviously...

Lately I have seen some go for more than $4000 on GL. That's without any inspection at all. No idea what condition they where in.

$2800 is a great price.

That looks pretty clean, not often they are that clean. Plus if its been registered already then it must be in at least fixable condition. Nice find.
