OK, probably no wonder I have to ask about this being as I am "NDT", which way are you supposed to point the tread on the Wrangler MT? The tire does not have an arrow. I just mounted up 4 with no regard to the direction, will this look funny?

Well, it will be harder to track your direction if they are all going in different directions. I don't think the military (most units) gave a hoot about it. I've gotten them in all sorts of jumbled directions.

looking at the pic you posted the tire should be running you over. these same tires are on my m37 (same pattern but civi tire) and they indicate this as the proper direction.

I've seen most mounted with the date code facing out, so that would put them opposite directions on right and left.

you should mount them all the same way. the center tread kinda looks like an arrow tip.
stand on the sidewall of a tire and have the center tread point down to the right or down to the left. what matters is you do all 2 the same way.
why? when you mount the rire on the truck and stand in front or behind, you will see that the LF will face up and RF face down or vice versa.... basically, it will help you get out if stuck with treads facing opposite directions.
