im looking at a m816 and wanted to know how high the boom will reach and at what load capacity i need to lift 4 tons 22 feet. what a average price they bring? is there a better truck for the job? ive been looking at a12ton rough terrain crane but the wrecker trucks look like they could have a lot more uses any thoughts

Well, it's got 18' of stick that is about 5' off the ground. That gets the tip of your boom close but not the load. Might try shopping for an M819 but I don't know what their capacity is at full extension, I think they have 26' of stick.
