Well, now I’ve gone and done it. Bought a new, unused Bogert jack, advertised for HMMWV. Except it’s not.

What I got was this: http://bogertgroup.com/BII/images/88M-MPBMI.pdf

Which is for an MRAP.

Navistar Defense MaxxPro FOV withDXM Independent Suspension.For Models M1224, M1224A1, M1234, M1234A1, M1235, M1235A1

When what I wanted to buy was this: http://bogertgroup.com/BII/images/HMMWV Operation_Manual_Printable.pdf

No, not an ePay deal, either.

Question for the hive is: before I go trying to sell, recoup my costs, go find the right one, can this be used safely with a HMMWV?

Anyone have direct experience with this who knows?

Thanks.

I always wanted one of the Bogert jacks for my SECM. Odds are, I would never use it but it's so neat.

Man, one of those things wouldn't hurt my feelings for my LMTV. I use 20 ton bottle jacks now, and a lot of cribbing, but it kind of sucks because the 20 tons don't really have the throw you'd want so it can get kind of mickey mouse when you are doing it on soft ground.
