Hey
Have any of you guys painted your duece in WWII semi-gloss?, if so have you got any pic's you can post? Also is there a difference between AJP's WWII semi and Rapco's WWII semi paint. My 35 was originally 24087 but I was just thinking about doing it a little greener and I don't really want to go to a flat OD color ( though I still might go with 24087 )
Thanks for any help

The 24087 is a darker shiny green when compared to the WWII semi gloss. I am working on a M135 in the WWII semi gloss. I like it better than the 24087 I have put on one of my deuces. It is 'greener' I guess you could call it.

Most producers of WW2 paint claim they are WW2 and are 1950s M37 colors. TM 9 is the only producer that has true WW2 colors that I know of. I know Rapco and GCI are both not WW2 colors. I am a trueist in preservation and used TM9 for that reason

Bulldog thanks for the photo ( got any more?), it looks like the WWII semi rapco sells

Tractor, I agree I haven't yet found a match for the original color of my 54,M37 which was suppose to be WWII semi, though I have not sampled TM 9 paint, however I did like the color of Rapco's WWII and was curious if anyone had used it on their M35 which I know is not correct color but what the heck, I've done 3 trucks in 24087 and thought I'd try something different

I've also read that AJP's WWII semi is made in a different shade then Rapcos ( yes I know their both Gilliespie )

Jeff, I'd like to see pic's of your 37 project anytime you have them ;-)
