I got a call from one of my buddies late this evening that they were blocking off the street in town for a car show and wanted to know if I would show the flag MV wise.
I didn't have a lot of time to prep the Primary Deuce so I just mucked out the cab and headed to town with a load of metal still stapped to the bed.
Elmo begged to go so I loaded him up and off we went....since the deuce has a highback bucket seat on the passenger side he was as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine riding shotgun.
The deuce got a lot of attention and I let several kids sit up in the cab. As shows go it was not huge but we still had a good turnout.
Enjoy the pics. Sorry for not rotating the two.

The kids that got up in the truck were facinated by the guages and the view.....one little guy wanted to know if he grew up and joined the Army if he could drive a deuce....he was dissapointed when I told him they were no longer in active service.

Several of then had their pictures made in the truck by their parents.

"Elmo's Dad", is that LEGAL....... When I read it I was thinking Grumpy old men and a POSSUM, but I could be wrong. Keep up the good work WM, the young ones are the future of the hobby. I know up here, we use the vehicles in support of the Sea Cadet programs as well as other shows and festivals, and they love the vehicles, BIG and not so big. When I get a chance to "figger" out how to add pictures to this, I'll post some of the cadets in the trucks, 10 to 18, yrs, and the farther you take them, the better they like it.[thumbzup]
