I saw the 195 target 20 or 30 years ago at YPG.

What shape was it in back then? Mortar straight through the grill? I have no doubt that it is scraped out now, but just to reminisce on all the parts I missed out on what did it look like?

Also just finished re-cutting the valves. Almost ready to put the head back on.

Just started in on painting the engine. Went with a sliver to stay as close to the pictures as possible. (Engine was not painted in pics, but that was not an option.) Just have the block to go and I can put the engine aside and begin work on another section of the truck.







P.S.
(For those who noticed, in one of the pictures it looks like one of the freeze plugs is bulging its just an optical allusion from the picture, its actually concave.)

The T-195 I saw was shot so full of holes it looked more like a Slinky. Nothing to salvage, just burnt & rusty.

Just got back from a 7 week job away from home and a week long family vacation. Things are finally settling back down. Just started in on painting the block. Should have the trany and trasfer case sandblasted and painted up soon and the power pack will be all done.

Starting next on the frame. Planning on cutting sections from an m37 frame and patching in the big holes. Many parts of the two frame rails are the same.

Maybe it's just the way it's sitting on the ground and the camera angle, but is the frame warped or bent in some way?

Ya I noticed that once I posted the picture. It's a combination of a window frame sitting on the front and the angle of the picture. The frame itself is fairly straight.
