Year of my M35A2C?

I have a bunch of questions about my "new" M35A2C, but this is the most pressing as I need to get this thing titled. So GL listed my truck as a 1970. My engine is a 1972. I don't see any date on the dash data plates. I don't see any rebuild stickers to indicate that it might have a swapped engine. I don't know where on the frame to look to find the VIN as I suppose that might indicate the year. Any advise would be appreciated.

Oh also there is a triangular data plate attached to the driverside inside door cab support that says something about "WMO Applied" in like 1989. What does this mean?
Thanks

What MFR is it? AM General maybe? The MWO in the drivers door is from the addition of seatbelts.

More than likely the VIN number of the vehicle is stamped into the frame near the steering gear on the drivers side, it will be a nine digit sequence of numbers, broken into a four-digit prefix, and a five digit suffix. The last two numbers of the prefix will probably be 40 or 41 - but this is not always the case.

If you will provide me the VIN number, either by posting or via email, I can probably tell you the year of your truck. Further, if you will provide all the numbers on the data plate, this will be very helpful as well - if you have a digital camera, send a photo.

The MWO tag indigates a Modification Work Order was completed. The MWO number will identify what the modification was.

Best wishes,
David Doyle
